Mike McShane started J Michael McShane Realty in 1995. Prior to that he was the CFO for a well known Jobber of fuel supply products throughout Georgia where he learned the convenience store industry. JMM Realty focused on commercial real estate and business brokerage targeting the growing Asian Indian and Pakistani markets. This growing community in metro Atlanta is entrepreneurial with a very high work ethic. With this focus and contacts in the petroleum industry, J. Michael McShane Realty has developed a much respected reputation in brokering convenience stores, petroleum distributors, truck stops and related businesses. Representing both sellers and buyers, Mike quickly built a reputation for quality representation built on honesty, trust and his financial background. The area of putting buyers and sellers together based on a set objective by both parties is the basis for what grew into McShaneBasinger LLC in 2009.
Jon Basinger joined Mike McShane in 1998 and worked in partnership expanding the business in to other markets including liquor stores, retail centers, day care centers, land and fast food/restaurants. However, the focus still remains largely in the convenience store industry. McShaneBasinger represents and markets such brands as Chevron, BP, Texaco, Shell, Citgo, Exxon, Marathon, and independents. While focused in the Greater Metro Atlanta SMSA, we cover all of Georgia and have marketed in Florida, Alabama, North and South Carolina and Tennessee. Our greatest accomplishment may be the validation that we rarely work with a client a single time. Repeat customers are a testimony to our ethics, reliability, professionalism and trust we have earned.
